BIOMy name is Luke; I am an artist/musician living in Rochester, NY. As a youngster my free time was spent doing farmwork, drawing, playing guitar, and working on the computer. In grade school I began taking private art lessons from Linda Simon, which I continued for 7 years. In high school I was introduced to photography, and began learning digital and web design. By my senior year I was teaching photoshop techniques to my photography class, and worked on the design of my school's web site.In college I continued to develop my digital skills as I branched out into the realm of fine art. I built up a portfolio as I began developing my own artistic style and sensibility. Each year I participated in the Nazareth College Student Art Show. I took home back to back "Best of Show" awards from 2008 to 2009 - both in Painting and Photography. I received my bachelors degree in May of 2009. Resume |
